Our admission criteria take into account individual needs, stability on an opioid agonist treatment, the motivation to engage in work with the counsellors, and the ability to live in a community and in a semi-structured setting.

Admission procedure

Meet the basic eligibility criteria:

  • Following an opioid agonist treatment and stable in one's treatment.
  • Pregnant or parents of one or more children.
  • Agreeing to commit to setting goals and meeting with counsellors during the stay
  • Willingness to participate in the organization's required activities (monthly residents' meetings, tasks to be performed, etc.).
  • In the case of a couple, one or both parents may be undergoing opioid agonist treatment. However, the other partner is expected to meet with a worker and participate in activities.

 

Visit to Logis Phare and presentation of services

Visit to Logis Phare and presentation of services, if an apartment is available:

  • Phone call or visit to the resource and initial meeting to assess whether the applicant meets the basic criteria.
  • Pre-admission meeting to assess whether Logis Phare is the right place for you
  • When the applicant is accepted, there is a meeting with management to fill out the required forms. 

If we run out of places, we still take the contact details of those interested so that we can follow up if any become available.
