Supportive, subsidized apartments for parents of children. Our priority is 0-5 year olds, but we accept families with children of all ages. Parents must be undergoing an opioid agonist treatment, committed to working on goals and involved in our programming during their stay with us.
A rest stop is offered on site on an ad hoc basis, depending on the availability of staff.
An individualized, supportive action plan is drawn up for each Logis Phare parent. Follow-up meetings enable us to verify the objectives, means and deadlines set out in the plan, and to make any necessary adjustments.
Residents are welcome to drop-in to the office at any time to meet with staff. Whether you would like to come for a coffee, ask for information or just have a chat and hangout, we are almost always available and welcome these opportunities to connect.
The team is available to accompany residents in a variety of circumstances in which residents may need support. Some examples are to a meeting at the daycare, to family court, to community organizations and to medical appointments.
These compulsory monthly meetings are an opportunity to discuss the organization's activities, associative life, upcoming events and challenges. We receive interesting feedback from residents.
Throughout the year, we organize activities for participants with the goal of fostering community, enabling access to resources, and most importantly having fun together. Here are just a few examples:
Since 2013, Logis Phare has been offering a post-stay follow-up service to former residents. The aim of this program is to ease the transition to the new living environment. This support program takes several forms: telephone calls, home visits, accompaniments and visits to the Logis Phare office.
